Ridgemont Nightstand 26" W

I used a wood nightstand before, and water rings from cups were pretty noticeable. This time, I specifically chose one with a sintered stone top. Now I feel more comfortable placing a water cup, diffuser, and lamp on it, and cleaning is quick. I still would not scrape the surface directly with sharp objects, though. Normal care is still needed.

My walls and curtains are both light-colored, so a dark brown cabinet would have felt a bit heavy. This one has a softer color and matches the overall bedroom style better. The real wood tone has some variation, so it does not look flat or overly uniform.

The outer packaging did not have any obvious damage when it arrived, and I did not see any dents or scratches after opening it. The cabinet itself has some weight, so it is better to have two people move it into the bedroom. There was no complicated assembly required, which made it convenient for me.

The drawers have a soft-close feature, so they do not shut with a loud bang. That is pretty important in a bedroom. I can take things out at night without disturbing others too much. The drawer slides feel smooth. They are not extremely heavy or luxury-feeling, but they are comfortable enough for daily use.

My bedding is mostly white, beige, and blue-gray, and this nightstand fits in nicely. The wood tone is not too dark, and the stone top is not a cold, stark white. Overall, it has a slightly warm feeling. It looks especially comfortable at night with the lamp on.

My bedroom space is limited, so I was worried that 26 inches might look too large. In reality, it looks fine beside the bed. The width is useful but not excessive. The light wood tone and stone top also make the overall look feel lighter, so the room does not feel cramped.
