Customer service explained the care instructions clearly
Before ordering, I asked customer service whether the rug could be washed. They explained that it cannot be machine washed or fully water washed, and that it should be spot cleaned according to the care instructions or professionally cleaned when needed. That reminder was helpful because otherwise I might have treated it like a regular rug.

The lighter areas are not as delicate as I thought
I was worried that a light-colored rug would get dirty too easily, but the pattern has enough variation that everyday dust and light footprints don’t show too obviously. Regular vacuuming keeps it looking pretty good. Liquid spills still need to be handled immediately, though.

The packaging was sturdy, but be careful moving it
The rug arrived well packaged with no damage. It was rolled up and quite heavy. I wouldn’t recommend trying to move it alone, especially for larger sizes. After opening it, I adjusted the corners a little, and it became flatter after sitting for a while.

The pattern makes the living room feel less empty
The middle of our living room used to feel a bit empty. After adding this rug, the sofa and coffee table area look more connected. The pattern is not too bold, but it still has dimension. From a distance it looks soft, and up close you can see the raised texture.
