The base is not one solid piece; it is made of three columns that need to be assembled together first before attaching the tabletop.     Helpful Service Reminder

    Easy Enough to Clean Daily

    We use this table for everyday meals, so there are sometimes water marks or small spills on the surface. I usually wipe them right away with a slightly damp cloth and then dry the area. The tabletop feels smooth and is not difficult to clean, though I still use coasters or placemats for hot items.
